  • Preliminary Blood panel to ensure the patient is a clean candidate and there are no issues.
  • We extract blood to spin up to get the PRP. The amount of blood needed to be extracted depends on how many injections the doctor deems necesarry. It is usually around 10ml.
  • Once the PRP has been prepared we numb the patients face with a topical anesthetic cream and wait 5 minutes for it to numb up.
  • The doctor then loads specialty insulin syringes up with the PRP and MSC Stem Cells. The doctor then injects the PRP + MSC into the face to restore a youthful appearance and reduce or eliminate lines and wrinkles.
  • This procedure can take 1 to 2 hours depending on how much PRP is needed and the age of the patient.

Here is how the MSC + PRP Procedure for Knees Works

  • An x-ray or ultrasound is done of the knee to determine the extent of damage.
  • A blood panel is conducted to make sure the patients blood is okay for PRP.
  • Blood is extracted from the patient to spin up and seperate the Plasma from the red blood cells.
  • The PRP is put into a syringe with 10 million mesenchymal stem cells that are specifically formulated for this type of procedure.

  • The PRP is put into a syringe with 10 million mesenchymal stem cells that are specifically formulated for this type of procedure.
  • The patient sits on a medical bed and the injection is inserted into the Shoulder.
  • The recovery can take weeks or months to fully occur, but we ask patients to refrain from strenuous activity involving the shoulder for at least 1 weeek. They can then return to normal routines and the shoulder will continue to repair.

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC) have been found to be very effective at treating the underlying autoimmunity of both forms of Diabetes.

TYPE 1 DIABETES

The problem with Type 1 Diabetes is that your immune system attacks the pancrease islets and the beta cells until they are all gone and the patient requires insulin injections. The key to treating Type 1 diabetes with MSC’s is to reduce or remove the inflammation in the Pancrease. MSC’s have been shown in studies to do this. They then help your immune system to regulate itself by using the MSC secretions. This then allows the islets and the beta cells to replicate and regulate the blood sugar levels. So it is not the MSC’s becoming any type of cell, it is your own body having the ability to produce the cells as it is supposed to.

TYPE 2 Diabetes

The problem with Type 2 diabetes is that tye cells become resistant to insulin and no longer let glucose in. Leaving it to accumulate in the blood stream.

TYPE 2 DIABETES STUDY

A study in China gave 31 patients MSC stem cells and 31 a placebo.

2 intravenous infusions were given four weeks apart. There were no adverse effects.

The patients given the MSC’s showed significant improvements in postprandial glucose (Blood sugar levels after eating), hemoglobin A1C levels (A marker of long term blood sugar control), C-peptide (Surrogate for endogenous insulin production), C-peptide to glucose ratio and HOMA B (Homeostasis model assessment of pancreatic islet beta cell function.)

The improvements seemed to peak between 15 to 21 months after treatment.  The study did not explain how many stem cells were injected. We have found that a high injection with a MSC implant has even better results than what this study found.

TYPE 1 & TYPE 2 DIABETES PROTOCOLS

Both types of diabetes are treated with the same protocol

  • 100 million MSC IV + 45 million MSC implant
  • Some patients may need to come for treatment on a yearly basis to keep their immune response working properly while others are fine after 1 treatment.

One risk of frailty in older age is dementia. The brain experiences aging just as the rest of the body does. As we age our mitochondria also get used up. The mitochondria are the powerhouses of the body. They are responsible for 90 percent of the body’s energy production. MSC’s have a unique ability to search out cells do a triage. If they detect that the cells are lacking mitochondria they are then able to share their mitochondria with the cell to help rejuvenate it. For brain cells, this is extremely important. No clinical studies have been conducted on dementia specifically, but people with dementia have been treated with MSC’s with great results. The intravenous MSC therapy has been shown in best cases to bring back full awareness to people with dementia. People with early stage diagnosis of dementia have the best results, but even people with advanced dementia have found powerful results. This is an ongoing treatment and requires the patient to get treated on a yearly basis
